I am happy to announce that our latest paper “Controllable Sentence Simplification in Italian: Fine-Tuning Large Language Models on Automatically Generated Resources” has been accepted at the Language and Resource Evaluation Conference of 2026 (LREC2026).

The paper has been accepted with an oral presentation that I will do in lovely Palma de Mallorca next May during the conference.

The work is on Controlled Sentence Simplification, and in particular it presents and thoroughly test a new resource for Italian called Italian Multi-level Parallel Corpus for Controlled Text Generation (IMPaCTS).

No pre-print is available, but the dataset and data exploration demo is already available on GitHub.
